today is a shady retreat

under the trees, always they please,
patiently hanging around,
under the ground where cool air abounds -
places now to be found

no vision of what's to come
no words to convey this feeling today,
keeping still while on the run

inwardly knowing we're in a flowing
electro-magnetic field
there's nowhere to go except with its flow
all we can do is yield
